On Saturday, June 18th 2022, Tom Bailey became the 10th black belt awarded by Paramount BJJ owner, head instructor, and 4th degree black belt Brad Court.
Tom holds the distinction of being at the very first class at Paramount (back in 2005), and was also the first student promoted by Brad (to blue belt in 2006), and the first to earn a medal in competition representing Paramount (also 2006). After taking several years off (2007-2013), Tom returned and refused to stop- despite the obstacles life threw his way.
Congratulations Tom, you are an inspiration to all of the students when it comes to perseverance and determination!
