Congratulations to Mike Hashem on his promotion to BJJ black belt! Mike joined Paramount in 2014, already a blue belt. Having earned the belt at another school, Mike decided to make the switch to Paramount and was all-in from the start.
His work ethic, toughness, technique, and positive mindset made him a great fit for Paramount. Mike is an accomplished competitor in Jiu-Jitsu (gi and no-gi) as well as MMA (2-0 record). He’s also a 2x Instructor of the Year winner due to the fantastic job he does leading the Muay Thai classes- while also covering BJJ (adults and youth) and Boxing classes whenever needed.
We are all grateful to have Mike on the team and to represent the school as just the 9th ever Paramount BJJ black belt.
