Congratulations to Jacob Nikolayevsky and Scott Cook on their promotions to 2nd degree black belt. In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ranking, a black belt is awarded their first degree after three years at the belt and their second degree after three more.
Both Jacob and Scott, family men with children and careers, were promoted to black belt in 2017 and have continue to make time for training. They serve as fine examples of making Jiu-Jitsu a part of one’s life, and not just a search for belts. Well done, gentlemen!
