“Tap Cancer Out” is a nonprofit organization that raises awareness and funds for cancer fighting organizations on behalf of the jiu-jitsu community.  Because there are so many different types of cancer, the “Tap Cancer Out” organization supports a different beneficiary every two years. For 2016 and 2017 they have partnered with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and have set a goal to raise $300,000 over the next two years!

“Tap Cancer Out” will be holding a fundraising tournament right here in Downingtown, PA.  The tournament will be held on Saturday October 22, 2016 located at the United Sports Training Center on Marshalton Thorndale Road. Downingtown, PA is the home of Paramount Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, the most elite academy in the area for Brazilina Jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing and Boxing. Students from all age ranges and weight classes will be coming out to not only represent their school, but to raise money for a great cause.  If you are a fan of the sport or are interested in learning more about it, this is a great opportunity to come out and show your support for the local competitors and for the fight against cancer!
